Kaycee Baron is an experienced fine art appraiser and consultant with nearly 20 years of expertise specializing in photography and postwar and contemporary art. She is an Accredited Member of the Appraisers Association of America and has been USPAP compliant since 2018. Her appraisal practice reflects a deep understanding of valuation methodologies, art market dynamics, and the ethical standards required for IRS-qualified appraisals.

Kaycee has collaborated with leading institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art, the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, as well as private collectors and major corporations. Her work encompasses insurance, estate planning, donation, and collection management appraisals prepared to meet institutional, legal, and fiduciary requirements.

In addition to appraisal services, Kaycee advises on acquisitions, deaccessions, and curatorial projects for private, corporate, and public collections. Her consulting work has supported clients such as Google, Amazon, L’Oréal, Wells Fargo, MGM Resorts, and Kaiser Permanente. She is known for managing projects of varying scale with precision, discretion, and a comprehensive understanding of both market and curatorial considerations.

Kaycee’s professional background includes gallery ownership in Los Angeles, experience at Christie’s, and extensive work in private and corporate art consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Southern California, completed additional art history studies at London Metropolitan University, and was the recipient of a fellowship from the California Museum of Photography during her graduate studies at the University of California, Riverside.
